Samsung Vibrant Review
21 Jul
The Samsung Vibrant T-Mobile is the latest high-end smartphone Android OS. There is a variation of Samsung smartphones Galaxy line S – other versions are available from AT & t and Verizon. All of these employ Samsung’s exclusive Super AMOLED display and Samsung processor with 1 GHz Hummingbird.
BUILD & DESIGN
Like the Samsung Captivate (a Galaxy-S model for AT & T), is strongly dominated by the Vibrant design its 4-inch OLED touch screen with super-AM 800 x 480 pixels resolution. In my inital run with the Vibrant, felt the screen a bit sensitive, and tolerant to gestures as the Captivate screen.
The advantage of the super-AM-OLED screen compared to those other OLED is that it is thinner, more energy efficient work, not the inclination to wash themselves completely in direct sunlight. Suffice it to say, it is impressive.

Hardware
Like its sister model of the Vibrant Captivate has built a solid farly. There are only a couple of notches around the unit for the buttons and ports. The power lock button on the right are the 3.5 mm jack and micro USB slot on the top, and volume buttons are located on your left.
The rear of the Galaxy, S-standard 5-megapixel camera, and pretty much anything else. As with many phones – but unlike the Captivate – the beating back of the show comes entirely from the 1500 mAh battery, SIM card and microSD card slot.
PERFORMANCE
The Samsung Vibrant Google Android OS running 2.1 (Eclair) on the 1 GHz processor, I have mentioned. Most functions are very fast so far, although I have not yet he ran through some of the heavier web sites and use scenarios that tax the system a few. This mobile has the usual suite of Google applications: calendar, contacts, e-mail, maps, music player. It has a GPS receiver and navigation of Google App.
