T-Mobile and Eric Clapton launch the myTouch 3G Fender Edition
Announced in October last year, the T-Mobile’s 3G myTouch Fender Edition now ready for launch.
The tailor-made Android smartphone is on sale from 20 January, and T-Mobile USA has to promote itself with legendary guitarist Eric Clapton, and they appear in commercials that air on national television.
Sunburst with “a fender-finish, inspired design, the T-Mobile’s 3G myTouch Fender Edition with 3.5mm headset jack and a 16 GB microSD card in the box and it will be preloaded with Eric Clapton hits like” Wonderful Tonight, “Layla,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Heart” and “My Father’s Eyes.” Songs of Avril Lavigne, Wyclef Jean and Brad Paisley will be designated.
The new phone will also come with applications such as Guitar: The lighting and musical solo, double twist and a customized multi-sync solution, which offers “a sleek, intuitive interface for synchronizing and managing music and other media” with a Mac or a Windows PC.
The Fender myTouch 3G running Android 1.6, but should be upgraded to Android 2.1 sometime this spring.
