Sprint preps HTC Android phones, BlackBerries, WiMax phones and more

Sprint was a whole series of interesting phones in recent times, including the Palm Pixi, Samsung Instinct HD, Samsung Intrepid, Samsung Moment and HTC Her.
Now the third largest U.S. airline is preparing for even more surprises in 2010.
According to CIO Sprint Executive David Owens has presented only some of the plans of the airline for the next year.
As reported, Sprint plans to launch WiMax device, and a lot of HTC and BlackBerry smartphones in 2010 – with the note that the HTC which will run Android, and some blackberries, is Wi-Fi functionality.

Speaking of Android, says that Sprint phones from Google OS “to get less expensive,” will be released as soon as more mobile phones. Next year, the hybrid-Carrier CDMA Start GSM Android phones, and even a “Android could phone with a built-in mifi-based routers.”
Sprint has also confirmed that Android updates to Samsung and HTC Hero will come the moment, although it is not yet clear when we talk Android 2.0.
