Sprint launches Samsung Moment Android smartphone with AMOLED touchscreen

Today at CTIA Wireless I.T. Entertainment and Show in San Diego, unveiled its latest Samsung Android-powered smartphone, the Samsung moment for Sprint. The Samsung is currently the first device from Sprint to an AMOLED (INFO) touch screen display function. The widescreen display measures 3.2 inches on the diagonal of a respectable, and the display of up to 16 million different colors can be. Unlike previous Sprint offers the HTC Android Hero, has the Samsung moment, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with 4 rows of keys.

The Samsung moment, all the normal Google applications that are usually based on Android devices, such as maps, YouTube, Gmail feature is found, and search, and includes also save the Android Market application. Sprint services like visual voicemail, NFL Mobile Live, Sprint and navigation are on board. E-mail will be covered by Microsoft Exchange and IMAP POP support, and compatibility with the typical e-mail systems such as AOL Mail and Hotmail. WiFi compatibility provides fast local data connections, while Sprint’s EV-DO Rev. A 3G data available when you’re away.

Samsung claims that the moment the battery provides up to 5.5 hours of talk time from a full charge. The Moment measures 116.8mm x 59.4mm x 16.0mm (4.6in x 2.34in x 0.63in) tall and weighs 161.7g (5.7oz).
