Samsung to Open Mobile App Contest for Global Developers
Samsung today announced the launch of a Global Developer Contest to create new applications for Samsung Omnia II smartphone.
The competition, opened the October 10th through 23rdand December, offers a total of U.S. $ 330,000 prize money to developers, new applications for Samsung mobile phones. The top two winners will each receive $ 100,000 in prize money. The winning applications will be made available to download, either paid or free on the Samsung site www.samsungapps.com Application Store
“Through its active participation hopes, Samsung offer this contest will be many opportunities for application developers,” said Hosoo Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Media Solution Center. “We want it to be able to benefit from their work to adjust, while at the same time, our customers a wide variety of applications to their phones. Samsung will continue to host many exciting events to develop the Samsung Application Store. ”
