GSM Palm Pixi confirmed, still not official

Announced in September, only in CDMA flavor, webOS Palm-powered Pixi has a GSM version, which has just made an appearance in Vietnam.

More than Tinhte Spotted, which has GSM Pixi course, a SIM card slot, and it looks like hopefully it runs on a EDGE network (it also has 3G).

Not surprisingly, the design of the GSM Palm Pixi similar to that of the CDMA version. The device, which has leaked in the pictures is only 4 GB of internal memory, as opposed to the officially announced Pixi, which has 8GB.

Probably, the other functions of the GSM Pixi are similar to those found in the CDMA edition 320 x 400 pixel multi-touch display, accelerometer, GPS, 3.5-mm headset jack, and 2MP camera.

The Palm Pixi with GSM connections will likely be released in Europe (via O2, perhaps) and Canada in spring 2010.
