RadioShack and T-Mobile announce retail partnership
One of the problems with T-Mobile in many areas is that there is very limited outlets, where you walk in and check out their offer or sign up for a new service. The other major problem is that T-Mobile network is not that very many in smaller towns and rural areas.
T-Mobile and Radio Shack retail a new agreement, which is almost twice the number of retail stores from T-Mobile has in the country. Radio Shack stores will sell T-Mobile service and devices, including the G1 and 3G myTouch with Google.
The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Radio Shack has more than 4,000 locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and the transaction will be later this summer.
