Sony Ericsson GreenHeart Phones – C901 and Naite
Sony Ericsson announced two new Green Heart Pioneer products with two flagship products – the Green Heart C901 and Naite – plus the Green Heart MH300 headset. The two new Green Heart of Sony Ericsson phones on the industry-leading ‘green core, “the result of a longstanding commitment to the use of hazardous chemicals from the product design and manufacturing.
The first flagship product to be launched, the C901 Green Heart, is an electronic, phone-in manual to replace the standard paper version. The Green Heart Phone C901 housing consists of a minimum of 50% recycled plastic and includes an optimized display light sensor, which consume less energy. The phone is equipped with colored water-based paint that reduces exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The C901 comes with Green Heart MH300 headset, one of the greenest Headsets are available, which is made from 100% recycled plastics in 4 out of 5 hard plastic, and far more than environmental legal requirements.
How well that many of the innovations in the C901 Green Heart, Naite will come to market with a low-power charger, the charger EP300 Green Heart.
The C901 Green Heart is also a WalkMate application that allows users to really walk the talk more environmentally friendly by following the steps by which it is the equivalent journey by car. And a Naite Ecomat application helps users greener choices in their daily lives as well as a carbon footprint calculator to show how much carbon dioxide you save if you take the car.
The Green Heart C901 supports GSMGPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 UMTS/HSPA/900 /2100. The C901 Green Heart will be in selected markets from Q2. Nait supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. Naite in selected markets from Q3.
