INQ Mobile Plan Twitter-Phone

Mobile phone manufacturers INQ Mobile intends to introduce a Twitter phone in time for the upcoming Christmas sales season, in the hope of profiting from the growing interest in micro-blogging.The handset would be the first mass-market phone with an Internet-based Twitter client, with the Internet connections to send 140-character “Tweet” – Twitter text messaging service.
“This can really help open up and drive to use Twitter when mobile usage is a part of the package, as your data on the PC,” said Frank Meehan, Chief Executive of the INQ.
INQ Mobile sold more than 700,000 mobile phones since the introduction of the Skype phone in the year 2007.
