Will the Next iPhone Edit Video?

The iPhone is a pocket-film studio, according to “People with the matter”. The next generation will be a “one-stop studio for recording, editing, and display your own videos,” said Peter Burrows Business Week.Angry inflation aside from anonymous sources, the Business Week calls it? Firstly, you need a camera, video recording. Apple has already said that the 3.0-software-video capability, the iPhone, but it did not say that a new iPhone does not shoot movies. Also jailbroken iPhones already shooting video, even if sucking the battery dry and do it. Sun, Burrows’ claim plausible.
Secondly, you need some horsepower to edit video. The iPhone works surprisingly well with still images, which many third-party applications in order to throw some quite sophisticated effects. But these are individual frames. Video requires much more force, unless the processing is straight cut-and-paste editing. Burrows says his source, “with Apple’s plans for the next iPhone” claims that there is an iMovie application, which sounds like a real more than about a simple clip-hacking program. Plausibility? Three out of five years.
Finally, we take a look at the history, and the way of the iPhone. Since the original iPod, Apple has recognized that a Palm device is good for one thing and one computer to another. This was one of the reasons for the iPod’s success – all the work in the easy to use, large screen and iTunes, you can only hear on the go. Fast forward to today. ITunes still not everything. The iPhone can take pictures, but they are trained in using the photos for display only. We make the same call for video, when (or if) it. These “iMovie” is probably just “film” and acts like a browser and player for your clips.
We would select this as a non-story, even though Business Week seems to be on a roll with the Apple rumors lately.
