Skype for iPhone arrives
Skype is famous for its application on the iPhone App Store, Tuesday. The company will officially announce the new application at the CTIA trade show in Las Vegas.With Skype for the iPhone users with an iPhone or iPod touch second generation with a compatible headset and microphone, you can free download from Skype to Skype calls over Wi-Fi with other Skype users all over the world, have the option fixed or mobile phone numbers (Skype calling rates apply), sending and receiving instant messages, phone calls to a personal online number on Skype, and see when your Skype contacts are online.Scott Durchslag, Skype’s Chief Operating Officer, said that Skype for iPhone offers the same simplicity that the desktop application offers its users.
Skype for the iPhone is a free download from the App Store.
