RIM calls its store “BlackBerry App World”
RIM has announced the official name of the App Store as “BlackBerry App World.”
What did you expect, “RIM’s Fantastacial mega-warehouse applications?” If you want to be notified when the business goes live on RIM’s site head.
So now we have Apple’s “App Store,” Palm “app catalog,” and RIM’s “BlackBerry App World.” I’m pretty sure everyone is there still a “App Store”, since that “s what Apple said. Of course there were other mobile phones with Palm or Windows Mobile, but these three should be great until Microsoft includes them.
What can you expect from this message? Both Apple and Palm, not that the phone in her name store names, but RIM has. Expect all RIM phones with the “BlackBerry” name. Don’t expect a RIM “not-a-BlackBerry” any time soon.
