iPhone Voice Recorder
A new iPhone app allows users to speak, when it has already been said. This sounds impossible, but Epiphany is very cleverly programmed. The moment you start the program, it is already recording. But it is not saved until you see the recording, tap the “Remember that!” Button. In the program settings you can specify how far back you want to record clips (eg. 30 seconds or 2 minutes).
This is very useful in a number of possibilities. For example, imagine a journalist and you’re interviewing a person walks, a ton, but this is something interesting if every 10 minutes or so. With Epiphany loaded on your iPhone, you can select “Remember that!” and save the few seconds of quality audio files. The logs are stored about each recording as a clip that is easily accessible from a list, which can then be synchronized to your computer.
We love these. Well, only if the program would call on the iPhone itself that would be very helpful for me, although probably illegal.
