Vudu Application Brings Remote Rentals to iPhone

Streaming video pioneer Vudu released an iPhone app this week that allows users to rent or to buy a movie the distance. With a few swipes of your finger, you can send your video box at home to the films selected, they will be ready to go when you come home for work. Since waiting for less than twenty minutes to download is only a suggestion for the control freaks nightmarish.
The Vudu Movie Catalog offers a complete application browsing services for at-home box, with full coverage of the arts, film content, performers and information. There is no word when the iPhone App will also be the selection of the new iPhone “on demand” section, with the additional Web content, such as the Discovery Channel.
Currently Vudu offers over 13,000 movie titles in its video promoting HDX digital video format. The company has reputation for the quality of their videos, and Torrent-style storage system, with small pieces of films, from a hard disk to another to facilitate downloads. Recently, also announced Vudu a standards-based RIA (Rich Internet Application) platform for their box, the third-party developers to build and improve web-based content applications.
The application is available on the iTunes Store, for free.
