Nokia Stops Making N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition

Nokia said it ceased production of the N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition, the only mobile device with WiMAX technology.
WiMax has been in the competition for the status of the next generation of mobile technology, but has largely lost the battle for Long-Term Evolution (LTE).
“We have ramped the N810 WiMax Edition Tablet. He has reached the end of their life cycle,” said a Nokia spokesman. Nokia presents the model only nine months, while in general the trendy models have a shelf life of about one year.
Nokia does not exclude the introduction of additional mobile WiMAX in the future.
